The Ace Killers Poker League 2025 WSOP Challenge is a tournament event that will be played on Saturday at noon May 31st, 2025, the date and time is subject to change by tournament director. The goal of tournament is to provide World Series of Poker Main Event seats. The WSOP is usually played from May through July. The goal for 2025 WSOP Challenge is to provide two $10,000 main event seats and, depending on the prize pool, some additional prizes. The tournament prize pool is funded throughout the year when players elect to purchase additional poker chips for regular league games. Up to 4 additional $40 add-ons may be purchased, before the beginning of the tournament.
In order to qualify for the 2025 WSOP Challenge, a player must have played at least three regular season league or special event games. In addition, each time a player purchases the add-on chips, they will be credited 1000 additional chips to their starting stack of their 2025 WSOP Challenge tournament starting stack. The 2025 WSOP Challenge tournament starting stack is 10,000 chips. For example, a player plays 10 regular season league games and purchases the add-on chips for each of those games, they will then receive a starting stack of 10,000t chips plus the additional 10,000t chips (10 games X 1000) for the add-on chips, for a total of 20,000t chips for their 2025 WSOP Challenge, if they purchase the additional chips on the day of the Challenge tournament they will receive another 6,000t to their starting stack and from the example above start with 26,000t chips. In addition, they would have 11 shares (10 purchases plus the day of purchase of extra chips) of 25% of any winnings from the winner of the $10,000 seat if they make the money. The money from additional add-on purchased the day of will help go toward food and paying the dealers, and adding to the prize pool. In addition, this purchase of extra chips counts as shares.
Players agree that by participating in the 2025 WSOP Challenge they will abide by the tournament rules and the tournament director’s decisions, which are final. It is also agreed that the winner of the WSOP main event seat must play in the main event and for any reason that they cannot play, they agree to forfeit the prize to the player that came in second, if for any reason the second place winner cannot play the Main Event, that player will forfeit and the prize will be awarded to the next player on how they finished in the 2025 WSOP Challenge, this method will proceed until a player is found that can play in the WSOP Main Event.
Furthermore, the player that is awarded the 2025 WSOP Challenge Main Event Seat, agrees to split any winnings from their WSOP Main event tournament, 75% to the player and 25% to the Acekiller's League shareholders. All taxes to be borne by their recipient and their respective share split. The 25% will be divided between the league players on a per share basis. Every player in the league will receive one (1) share based upon each purchase of add-on chips during league play. For example, the main event winner cashes out for $1,000,000, which gives the league $250,000 for the 25% split, and there were 1,000 purchases of add-on chips during the season, that equates to 1,000 shares divided into the $250,000. This would make a share worth $250. So, if a player played 10 regular season games and purchased the 2025 WSOP Challenge add-on chips for each game, that player would have 10 shares worth $2,500.
The add-on chips on Saturday the 31st of May 2025 must be purchased before the tournament begins and will become part of their starting stack. At no time can a player hold back or purchase the bonus chips after the tournament has begun. The exception to this rule, is if a player shows up late and has not received their seat assignment and starting chips, they may at the time of entry to the tournament purchase the additional chips. Registration for this tournament ends at the end of level 6 with 24-minute levels.
Any third or fourth place prizes and/or additional prizes are not subject to the rules of playing in the WSOP. However, it is strongly encouraged that they play in the WSOP but are not borne to the same restrictions as the winner of the WSOP 2025 challenge. In the event that the winner of the challenge cannot play in the WSOP Main Event, they agree to forfeit the total prize in lieu of a lesser prize, 3nd, or 4th place money, depending on the ability for those players to play in the WSOP main event.
